Cabbage Chowder

4 c Cabbage, shredded

2 c Carrots, sliced

3 c Potatoes, diced

1 T Salt

1/2 t Pepper

1/2 t Sugar

2 c Water

2 T Butter

4 c Milk

Put all ingredients, except milk and butter, in a pot and cook over low heat until the vegetables are done. Add the butter and milk and heat through.
