What is an Espresso?

Answer:
Espresso is a concentrated coffee drink made
by forcing near-boiling water through semi-fine powdered coffee at high pressure. Espresso can be made by manual, automatic or super automatic espresso machines, and its intensely concentrated nature keeps it undiluted in other coffee beverages like latte, cappuccino, mocha and macchiato.

By itself, espresso is served in “shots” of a one or two ounces, and since it loses its best qualities very quickly you must ideally drink it within two minutes of serving.

You may think that espresso essentially come from dark roast coffee, but the best espressos come when the roast levels are matched to the coffee bean type.

There are many Coffee drinks you can make with an Espresso.  A Cappuccino can be made with espresso beans and so can a Latte !
