Are there Ingredients in American foods that are unsafe?

Answer:
Food is supposed to be a beneficial fuel supply to keep us alive and kicking
Our planet and all life has grown and evolved together; the earth itself providing the necessary food, water, air, and other items necessary to sustain the various forms of life found here.

Mother Nature has always provided necessary nourishment and life-sustenance to whatever life forms have come and gone; through the miracle of nutrient-rich plants, animal meats, and the rest of the natural food supply.  Otherwise, we would not even be here!

That said, it is also important to note that much of the life-sustenance products available to Americans today is not what Nature actually intended for nourishment

For example, some of the chemical and artificial ingredients currently being used in much of the American food supply are considered to be highly suspect regarding their effects on overall health.

Ingredients like Aspartame, monosodium glutamate (MSG), high-fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated vegetable oils, and numerous others are known to be associated with ill-health; whether in acute or chronic form.  Many such ingredients contribute to the "body-burden"; the body's build-up of exposures to pollution and toxins.

Science is learning more and more about how our bodies struggle with assimilation of some of the questionable ingredients in use in our foods today.  For more information, you can search the Internet for "product ingredient information", which will bring up a number of informative websites dealing with this issue.

Visit the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) website, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) website, the Human Toxome Project website, the National Institute of Health (NIH) website, and the Federal Trade Commission website for more information.  You can also visit Quing-It (Query-Ingredients) website, for a one-stop-source for product ingredient information.

Be safe!  Read the labels!
If you can't pronounce it, you probably shouldn't use it!
