What is a Pizza Stone?

Answer:
If you want to bake your own pizza, you need a pizza stone.
It is basically a porous flat stone, ceramic or earthenware on which the pizza is placed to bake. It is used in a conventional cooking oven to help distribute the heat evenly and absorb the moisture from the dough.

Using this pizza stone will give your pizza a crisp, even crust. I usually introduce my pizza stone into a cold oven on the lowest shelf before heating up for about 45 minutes at 400°F to keep it from cracking. To clean, always wash it in warm water alone.
